Desenvolvimento Turístico

            Dentre os propósitos das ações dos projetos Me Conta... e Museu do Processo está o desenvolvimento turístico das regiões onde se inserem, que contam com grande diversidade natural e cultural (material e imaterial). Estas ações estão voltadas para um turismo que respeite, preserve e valorize o patrimônio de cada um dos municípios, fomentando o desenvolvimento local sustentável a partir de seus próprios recursos. Este processo tem como prioridade o reconhecimento e valorização das próprias comunidades de suas riquezas naturais e culturais. Diante disso, um trabalho de iconografia de cada localidade é realizado, bem como a identificação e o mapeamento dos seus atrativos. Alguns desses atrativos já foram identificado e mapeado, como o Parque Nacional e de Refugio Silvestre em Boa Nova, o São João Tradicional do Valentim, a exuberância da Mata Atlântica em Ibirataia e as manifestações tradicionais em Dário Meira, como o Samba de Dona Dete, o Boi de Dona Laurinha e os Reisados de Boa Nova. Busca ainda mapear tudo aquilo que pode servir como suporte ao turismo local, como os aeroportos de Ilhéus, Vitória da Conquista e Jequié.

Touristic Development

            The actions of the Me Conta... project and the Museum of the Process have among their aims the touristic development of the regions where they are settled. Those regions have a great natural and cultural diversity (tangible and intangible). These actions are turned to a tourism that respects, preserves and appreciates the heritage of each of the municipalities, promoting the local sustainable development from their own resources. This process prioritizes the recognition and appreciation of their natural and cultural assets by the communities. In light of this, an iconography work of each location is performed as well as the identification and the mapping of its attractions. Some of these attractions have already been identified and mapped, like the National Park and the Wild Refuge in Boa Nova, the Traditional Festival of St. John in Valentim, the exuberant Atlantic Forest in Ibirataia and the traditional manifestations in Dário Meira, such as the Samba of Dona Dete, the Boi of Dona Laurinha and the Reisados of Boa Nova. It also aims to map everything that can work as a support for the local tourism, such as the airports of Ilhéus, Vitória da Conquista and Jequié.
